This group gradually formed in 2005 when several of the existing management groups within the village came together to organise an Auction of Promises. The main groups involved have been the Sports and Recreation Committee, the Village Hall Committee, the Tollerton Show, the Tennis and Badminton Club and the Playgroup Committee. It was felt that by working together we could co-ordinate fundraising within the village and run bigger events. The success in 2005 spurred the group to develop the name and logo and from this group came some of the main players to start the now annual Open Gardens Artsfest. An important founding principle of the group has been to ensure we support the Tollerton Show and do not put it at risk.
